Our Principal

Greetings Harding University High School Family, 

I am honored and excited to introduce myself as the Principal of Harding University High School. It is a privilege to join the Ramily and Ram Nation as part of this historic institution with such an incredible legacy, tradition, and pride. I have already had the opportunity to meet so many scholars, staff members, community members, and alumni who exemplify excellence within this school community, and I cannot wait to build on the great work already happening at Harding University High School.

I come to Harding after serving for 14 years at West Charlotte High School, where I began my career as a science teacher and later served as a technology facilitator, instructional coach, and assistant principal. I earned my bachelor’s degree from UCLA in Los Angeles and my Master’s in School Administration from Queens University of Charlotte. I have lived on the west side of Charlotte for the past 13 years, and I am now very proud to call Charlotte home.

I believe deeply that every child deserves the opportunity to receive an excellent education. I also believe in the potential of every scholar and know that it is our responsibility as adults and educators to remove barriers while creating the systems, structures, and support necessary for all scholars to be successful and to be able to live up to their full potential. 

At Harding University High School, our goal is for every scholar to leave prepared and committed to a plan for success — whether they are enrolled, enlisted, or employed. As we move into the 2026-2027 school year, our focus will be on building and maintaining the Ram Standard: Excellence Every Day.

I am grateful for the opportunity to serve this community, and I look forward to partnering with our scholars, families, staff, alumni, and community members to create transformational and excellent educational opportunities for our Ram Scholars.
